Natural products





We often say about natural products that they are harmless, but are they? Well, no! Unlike the normal drugs, natural products are not tested for unwanted effects. They often contain herbs with unknown effect. There are many harmful or even poisonous plants so there is a chance that a natural product might have negative effect on you. In most cases it is unlikely for this to happen, however you should really pay attention to the natural products you use if you are suffering from one or more of the following disorders:

  • Diabetes
  • Liver disorders
  • Glaucoma
  • Parkinson’s sickness
  • Abnormal blood pressure
  • Epilepsy
  • Heart disorders
  • Mental sickness
  • In case of organ transplant
  • Prostate
  • Thyroid problems
  • Blood-clotting problems
  • In case you are pregnant or about to have surgery

No matter what type of natural product you are using it is recommended that you consult your doctor first in order to avoid any negative effects. Do not underestimate natural products!

  1. Most people are so worried about eating fat that they forget about calories. I personally reckon that both calories and fat are unhealthy and bad for your figure. But let’s not forget that if you take calories from carbs they will turn into fat if you don’t burn them. But if you eat healthy food it will be much easier for you to lose weight.

Fat

Fat is something you should be careful with. Not only that it will give you extra weight but you might also get heart disease. We have all heard of young people dying from heart attack. That’s because they eat too much fat. But not all fat is that unhealthy. There are some items which are low on saturated fat such as the meat and cheese and they are not as unhealthy as products rich on saturated fat. Such products are all deep fried foods- French fries, chips, donuts, etc. Try to avoid eating food rich on saturated fat. I don’t mean that you should never eat it, what I mean is that everything should be done with moderation.

How to avoid eating too much fat?

If you want to cut off some of your fat intake what you can do is eat more fruits and vegetables. Fruits are rich on carbs but this is much better than eating fast food for example. Vegetables are rich on many essential nutrients which are vital when it comes to maintaining healthy weight. Try to cook with less fat and drink more liquids. This will help you get rid of some fat.

It’s a well known fact that consuming a lot of meat everyday is not healthy. It will make a person feel tired and will increase the risks of heart diseases and cancer. Some people like the vegetarians avoid eating meat. But is that healthy?

Vegetarians

People refuse to eat meat either because they reckon it’s unhealthy and cruel or because of religious reasons. I have to state that it is in human to nature to eat meat. We have been doing it since ever. And I do not deem that eating no meat at all is healthy either. Most of the vegetarians see my point and they will agree with me that they eat almost everything else. Which I reckon is more unhealthy compared to a chicken steak for lunch.

Red meat

Red meat is not healthy. If you consume a lot of red meat you should try to stop doing this. Don’t get me wrong, eating red meat from time to time is completely normal. Just don’t do it everyday!

Poultry

In my opinion the best meat is poultry. I reckon that chicken meat is the best there is. If you remove the skin and try to stick to the white meat your meal will be full with proteins and will lack on fat. I know that some of you are scared of eating poultry because they spread diseases. But you can invest in meat thermometer so your meal will be safe and not overcooked.

How to cook it

A good way for cooking your poultry is by either grilling or baking it. Oh, I almost forgot roasting it. No matter which of these three ways to cook your poultry you choose do not add extra fat. That way your meal will be both enjoyable and healthy. Here are some suggestions about what you can do with your poultry:

  • Chicken breasts- Grill them! I reckon this is the best way to cook them.

  • Chicken thighs- Cook them however you want. They are very tasty and juicy. You should know that they have a bit more fat than the breasts.

  • Chicken wings- They are amazing when cooked in stir fries or backed. Cook them with cookie sheet and add sauces.

Fish

Fish meat is great. Low on fat, rich on proteins and good for your eyes. Fish meat is recommend in many diets so I have to say that it is more than safe to eat it. Depending on the country you live finding fresh fish may be a tricky thing to do. But if you live in a major city you will surely be able to find fresh fish in your supermarket. When you buy fish pay attention to the smell. If it smells fishy then it’s probably old and you shouldn’t buy it. The fish must smell like the ocean! Make sure that the eyes of the fish are not foggy. Do not buy fish with it head cut off. If you do not want to clean the fish, ask the person who sells it to you to chop it’s head off. A fish should always be fresh.

Eating unhealthy food is risky. Everyone should watch what he is eating no matter if he is a bodybuilder or an ordinary human being!

Nowadays, people tend to eat a lot of food that causes health problems. Due to the fact that we don’t have enough time to eat properly we buy the so called “junk” food which can be more threatening than we suppose. It’s a disturbing fact that 50% of all men around the globe die due to heart diseases which are caused buy eating unhealthy food. It doesn’t matter if you are a bodybuilder or not, everyone should be aware of what he is putting on his diet!

Here is a list of tips on which food to avoid!


  • Solid oils. They are extremely harmful, replace them with lard!

I suppose you have heard of the solid oils- Crisco and others. People use them for making the crust of pies for example. Replace it with lard! Most people prefer solid fats due to the fact that they have long shelf life but don’t worry, lards have extremely long shelf life as well!

  • Lunchables.

Lanchables are full with salt and fat! You should try to completely avoid them!

  • Rice

White rice is not recommended to eat. Instead you can replace it with brown rice which is much healthier. To get accustomed to it you can mix white with brown rice!

  • Canned soups. They are abundant on salt!

Canned soups are full with salt which has negative effect on your heart. It’s a good trick to look for canned soups that are low on salt or buy them from a deli where they should be low on salt.

  • Sugar

Unfortunately sugar is almost everywhere! In our food and even most of our beverages! Try to avoid eating sugar at all. It is very unfriendly to the heart because it is a building block for cholesterol.

  • Processed meat

It is extremely rich on both fat and salt so once again try to always avoid it!

  • Deep fried foods

It is told that deep fried foods have changed DNA which you might doubt, but you can’t doubt the fact that deep fried foods cause cancer!

  • Refined flour

Due to all the processes it has gone through it is not as healthy as whole wheat flour. The refined flour is poor on essential nutrients.

  • Food with Alfredo sauce

Such food is loaded with both butter and salt witch is more than unhealthy.

It helps build big and strong muscles tissues. The female body lacks testosterone and that is the reason why female body is not as muscular as male’s. The more muscle mass a person has the faster he burns calories. Which means that it is easier for men to lose weight.

A recent study has proved that it is easier for women to gain weight. It turns out that women have to work out twice as much as men in order to burn the same amount of calories. This means that it really is much harder for women to maintain perfect body figure.

Scientists have realized that the more diets a person tries the harder it gets to lose weight. Human organism does not like diets and that is why it will try to save all the energy from food instead of burning it. That way if you go on diet it will be prepared.

How to avoid this

If you learn to cook healthier and work out at least 4 hours a week you will feel much better without stressing your organism. You will lose approximately 3 pounds per month but your cholesterol will be lowered, blood pressure and heart rate will be improved. Furthermore, your organism won’t try to save energy for your next diet.

If you go to any place where they sell water there should be coffee as well. It has become so essential for us that it is safe to say that coffee is a very important part of our life.

Moderation

You should drink coffee with moderation. One or two cups of coffee per day is normal but don’t think that drinking a few pots won’t affect you.
A list with the most common negative effect that coffee has:

  • Too much coffee will cause stress.
  • Elevates your blood pressure and speeds up your heart rate.
  • It’s not good for your stomach. Try eating something before drinking coffee.
  • Creates stains on your teeth. You know how unappealing that is. But don’t worry your dentist can deal with it.
  • Bad breath. Always chew a gum after drinking coffee.
  • Creates risk for heart diseases.
  • Sterility

Does coffee have any positive effect on me?

Due to the fact that coffee contains boron it actually cures prostate cancer! Isn’t that enough for you?
